The Significant “Try”

You always hear motivators tell associates that, “you don’t try…you do”, but never educate them on the concept of how to change their way of thinking.

You’re not helping them internalize their “Try” as an action in the process of achieving a desired outcome. This is how they are doing. You’re not helping them visualize that they are overcoming obstacles that are challenging

their desire to succeed. This is how they are doing. You’re not helping them understand that they must expect hardship in their journey and not have to explain why they have not shown any progress in the expectations of others. This is how they are doing.

When others tell you they are “trying”, remind them they are competing with a better version of themselves and that their success is their own to work for. Show them how to use the tools that will show progress and build their own confidence This is how they “Do” and not “Try”.
